Mid-Season Rewind

Dear Year of 2012,

How are you half way complete?  We had so much we wanted to share with everyone before reaching the month of July. :)  Let's rewind a little and share events from your beautiful Spring 2012.

With love,

The Erickson's and Coleman's were an absolute dream to work with from beginning to end!  They hired the right vendors and were able to kick back and enjoy this time with one another.
Mandy and Kevin, we wish you both all the best and were honored to be a part of your wedding weekend; come see us when you visit Asheville!

Thank you to these fantastic local vendors!

Caroline + Max had the most perfect May day; Cinco de Mayo!  Planning from a distance these families brought with them Taylor Helms Photography; be sure to click the link to see the talent and one of the cutest pictures EVER of the children sitting on the bench!

This wedding features the floral work of  Sweet Earth Flower Farm; a local gem of Western North Carolina.
Guests devoured the delicious carrot cake by Michelle Joyce and then danced into the night with The 96.5 House Band.

Claxton Farm arranged The Woodie Wagon as the get-away car for Max + fact, Max surprised her with a night at the Grove Park Inn which we had to keep secret the whole time.

Again, a fabulous line up of vendors and incredible families and guests to care for.
We are blessed!

Max + Caroline Forever!

AND...could not resist posting this picture!

They want to connect you to the top wedding vendors with the assurance that they are local to Asheville. After all, this is where you are getting married! Galen and Derek chose these vendors based on professionalism and quality and they all operate their business in, or near the city of Asheville, North Carolina.
Claxton Farm is featured under the venue category and since 1996 has been part of the establishment of Asheville as the destination wedding location it has become!  You will find many of the vendors on our M7 recommended Vendor Lists featured on the Asheville Wedding Professionals website.  Have fun perusing the  Asheville Wedding Pros  website and feel good about the options these talented fellows feature!

Nature's first green is gold...

Jennifer + Jacob
November 5, 2011

Well, The Beautiful Mess has done it again...we see Dan and Candace a few times a year now and they just keep turning out incredibly fab photos!  I wonder if any 2012 brides and grooms have chosen The Beautiful Mess as their photographers?!?!

Jake and Jen appeared to us in March 2011 as born planners.  These two were a dynamic Bride + Groom planning team!  Organized, creative and after you see these images you will see they are clearly in love and know how to have fun!

Enjoy these images and take note of how gorgeous the fall weather treated them in November.

Although Spring is here I wanted to spend a little time catching up with images from the last of 2011 wedding season while I had a moment.

Bye for now...

Once Upon A Dream, October 14, 2011

Once Upon a Dream was a fairytale event held at Claxton Farm by one of the sweetest ladies we've ever met!  Jennifer Hayslip with Sweet Eye Candy Creations planned a weekend getaway in Asheville, NC...full of imagination, magic and fun!

When you click on the link above it will take you to beginning of their Asheville adventure which started at our sister venue, The Crest Pavilion on Thursday, October 13th.

The following day they came to Claxton Farm for a day full of arts & crafts...followed by a delicious dinner and signature martinis!

We loved having the creativity and imagination abound on the farm!  Take some time to look over Jennifer's Blog and have fun getting lost in another world!

More to come...
